Heute habe ich endlich einmal versucht, meine Skizzen-Ideen in Stoff und Garn umzusetzen. Eins meiner Lieblingsthemen ist der Kölner-Dom. Die Skizzen wurden mit Ölkreide auf den Stoff gebracht. Dann einige Linien mit der Nähmaschine, je nach Effekt mehr oder weniger gleichmäßig und intensiv nachgezeichnet. Am Schluß dann nochmal mit Ölkreiden schattiert. Wahrscheinlich hält die Farbe nicht lange, aber es ist der erste Versuch und ich bin zufrieden.

Today I've started my ideas about sketches of thread. One of my favourite themes is the cathedral of Cologne. The sketch is painted by crayons, then the major lines are sewn with rayon. At the end I added some shadows.
